युक्तं वसन्त-कलकण्ठ-विहङ्गमैश् च
सौगन्धिकं त्वरण-पल्लव-शाखि-सङ्गम्
वृन्दावनं सुधित-धीर-समीर-लीलां
गच्छन् हरिर् जयति पातु सदैव भक्तान्
yuktaṃ vasanta-kalakaṇṭha-vihaṅgamaiś ca
saugandhikaṃ tvaraṇa-pallava-śākhi-saṅgam
vṛndāvanaṃ sudhita-dhīra-samīra-līlāṃ
gacchan harir jayati pātu sadaiva bhaktān
yuktam—endowed; vasanta—spring; kalakaṇṭha—cuckoo; vihaṅgamaiḥ—birds; ca—and; saugandhikam—fragrant; tvaraṇa—quick; pallava—buds; śākhi—trees; saṅgam—company; vṛndāvanam—Vṛndāvana; sudhita-dhīra-samīra-līlām—with playful nectar breezes; gacchan—going; hariḥ—Lord Hari; jayati—all glories; pātu—may protect; sadā—always; eva—certainly; bhaktān—the devotees.
English translation of verse 2.9.20:
Glory to Lord Hari, who walks in fragrant Vṛndāvana forest, which is filled with sweet-throated spring cuckoos, newly-budding trees, and gentle, playful, nectar breezes. May He always protect the devotees.
