वरं हरिं गुणाकारं
सु-मुक्ति-दं परात् परम्
रमेश्वरं गुणेश्वरं
व्रजेश्वरं नमाम्य् अहम्
varaṃ hariṃ guṇākāraṃ
su-mukti-daṃ parāt param
rameśvaraṃ guṇeśvaraṃ
vrajeśvaraṃ namāmy aham
varam—great; harim—Lord Hari; guṇākāram—a jewel mine of virtues; su-mukti-dam—granting liberation; parāt—than the greatest; param—greater; ramā—of the goddess of fortune; īśvaram—the master; guṇa—of transcendental virtues; īśvaraṃthe master; vraja—of Vraja; īśvaram—to the master; namāmy—offer obeisances; aham—I.
English translation of verse 2.9.16:
I offer my respectful obeisances to Lord Hari, greater than the greatest, a jewel mine of transcendental virtues, the giver of liberation, the master of the goddess of fortune, the master of transcendental virtues, and the master of Vraja.
