हरिं कोटि-कन्दर्प-लीलाभिरामं
स्फुरत्-कौस्तुभं श्यामलं पीत-वस्त्रम्
व्रजेशं तु वंशी-धरं राधिकेशं
परं सुन्दरं तं निकुञ्जे नमामि
hariṃ koṭi-kandarpa-līlābhirāmaṃ
sphurat-kaustubhaṃ śyāmalaṃ pīta-vastram
vrajeśaṃ tu vaṃśī-dharaṃ rādhikeśaṃ
paraṃ sundaraṃ taṃ nikuñje namāmi
harim—Lord Hari; koṭi—millions; kandarpa—of Kāmadevas; līlā—playfulness; abhirāmam—handsomeness; sphurat—glittering; kaustubham—Kaustubha jewel; śyāmalam—dark; pīta-vastram—yellow garments; vrajeśam—the king of Vraja; tu—indeed; vaṃśī-dharam—holding a flute; rādhikeśam—the master of Rādhā; param—supreme; sundaraṃhandsome; tam—Him; nikuñje—in the forest; namāmi—I offer my respectful obeisances.
English translation of verse 2.9.4:
In this forest grove I offer my respectful obeisances to handsome and dark Lord Hari, more playful and charming than millions of Kāmadevas, decorated with yellow garments and glistening Kaustubha gem, clutching a flute, the king of Vraja and the Lord of Śrī Rādhā.
