ततो जय-जयेत्य्-उच्चैः
स्तुवतां नमतां समम्
तद्-दयादृष्ट-दृष्टानां
सानन्दः सम्भ्रमो ऽभवत्
tato jaya-jayety-uccaiḥ
stuvatāṃ namatāṃ samam
tad-dayādṛṣṭa-dṛṣṭānāṃ
sānandaḥ sambhramo 'bhavat
tataḥ—then; jaya-jayety-uccaiḥ—with loud calls of Victory! Victory!; stuvatām—praying; namatām—bowing down; samam—with; tad-dayā—His mercy; adṛṣṭa-dṛṣṭānām—a slight glance; sānandaḥ—blissful; sambhramaḥ—respectful; abhavat—became.
English translation of verse 2.8.51:
When the demigods received Lord Kṛṣṇa's merciful glance they called out,
"Glory! Glory!", bowed down, and offered prayers. Pleased with them, Kṛṣṇa offered them all respect.
