उत्थायाश्वस्य तं कृष्णः
प्रियं प्रिय इव स्पृशन्
सुरान् सु-भूवि दूर-स्थान्
आलुलोक सुधार्द्र-दृक्
utthāyāśvasya taṃ kṛṣṇaḥ
priyaṃ priya iva spṛśan
surān su-bhūvi dūra-sthān
āluloka sudhārdra-dṛk
utthāya—rising; āśvasya—appeasing; tam—Him; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; priyam—beloved; priya—a lover; iva—like; spṛśan—touching; surān—the demiogds; su-bhūvi—on the earth; dūra-sthān—far away; āluloka—saw; sudhā—nectar; ardra—wet; dṛk—eyes.
English translation of verse 2.8.50:
Pulling Brahmā up, comforting him, and gently touching him as a lover touches his beloved, Lord Kṛṣṇa, His eyes wet with nectar, glanced at the many demigods now standing far away.
