The Garga-samhita Verse 2.8.38, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 8 (Description of Seeing Lord Krishna) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

एवं विमुह्यति सति
जडी-भूते च ब्रह्मणि
स्व-मायां कृपयाकृष्य
कृष्णः स्वं दर्शनं ददौ

evaṃ vimuhyati sati
jaḍī-bhūte ca brahmaṇi
sva-māyāṃ kṛpayākṛṣya
kṛṣṇaḥ svaṃ darśanaṃ dadau

evam—thus; vimuhyati—bewildered; satibeing so; jaḍī-bhūte—stunned; ca—and; brahmaṇi—Brahmā; sva-māyām—own illusion; kṛpayā—mercifully; ākṛṣyapulling away; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; svam—own; darśanam—sight; dadau—gave.

English translation of verse 2.8.38:

As Brahmā stood, stunned and bewildered, Kṛṣṇa mercifully removed His own illusory potency and revealed Himself.
