किम् अभूज् जगतः पतेः
अहो खद्योत-वद् वेधा
श्री-कृष्ण-रवि-सम्मुखे

vatsapālāpaharaṇāt
kim abhūj jagataḥ pateḥ
aho khadyota-vad vedhā
śrī-kṛṣṇa-ravi-sammukhe

vatsapāla—of the gopas; apaharaṇāt—from kidnapping; kim—what?; abhūt—was; jagataḥ—of the universe; pateḥthe master; ahaḥ—Oh; khadyota-vat—like a firefly; vedhāBrahmā; śrī-kṛṣṇaŚrī Kṛṣṇa; ravithe sun; sammukhe—before.
