The Garga-samhita Verse 2.8.31, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
एवं ब्रुवति श्री-रमे
तवत् तत्रागतो विधिः
ददर्श कृष्णं रामं च
वत्सकैर् वत्सपैः समम्

śrī-nārada uvāca
evaṃ bruvati śrī-rame
tavat tatrāgato vidhiḥ
dadarśa kṛṣṇaṃ rāmaṃ ca
vatsakair vatsapaiḥ samam

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; evam—thus; bruvati—says; śrī-rame—as Balarām; tavat—then; tatra—there; āgataḥ—came; vidhiḥ—Brahmā; dadarśa—saw; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; rāmam—Balarāma; ca—and; vatsakaiḥ—with the calves; vatsapaiḥ—and gopas; samamwith.

English translation of verse 2.8.31:

Śrī Nārada said: As Balarāma was speaking, Brahmā came there and saw Kṛṣṇa, Balarāma, the calves, and the gopas.
