The Garga-samhita Verse 2.8.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 8 (Description of Seeing Lord Krishna) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

गोवर्धनाद् अधो वत्सान्
पीत-दुग्धान् विलोक्य च
स्नेहावृतः स्थिता गाश् च
गोपाल दादृशुर् नृप

govardhanād adho vatsān
pīta-dugdhān vilokya ca
snehāvṛtaḥ sthitā gāś ca
gopāla dādṛśur nṛpa

govardhanāt—Govardhana Hill; adhaḥbelow; vatsān—the calves; pītadrunk; dugdhān—the milk; vilokyaseeing; ca—and; snehāvṛtaḥ—filled with affection; sthitāsituated; gāḥ—the cows; ca—and; gopālagopas; dādṛśuḥ—saw; nṛpaO king.

English translation of verse 2.8.15:

O king, the cowherd men saw the calves, who had already drunk their (mothers') milk, staying below Govardhana Hill, and they saw the cows, overcome with love for their calves, also staying there.
