इत्य् उक्त्वा मोहितो ब्रह्मा
मायया परमात्मनः
द्रष्टुं मञ्जु महत्त्वं तु
मनश् चक्रे ह्य् अहो नृप
ity uktvā mohito brahmā
māyayā paramātmanaḥ
draṣṭuṃ mañju mahattvaṃ tu
manaś cakre hy aho nṛpa
iti—thus; uktvā—speaking; mohitaḥ—bewildered; brahmā—Brahmā; māyayā—by the illusory potency; paramātmanaḥ—of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; draṣṭum—to see; mañju—beautiful; mahattvam—glory; tu—indeed; manaḥ—mind; cakre—did; hi—indeed; ahaḥ—Oh; nṛpa—king.
English translation of verse 2.7.33:
After speaking these words, Brahmā became bewildered by the Lord's illusory potency. O king, he set his heart on seeing the beautiful glories of the Lord.
