The Garga-samhita Verse 2.7.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 7 (Kidnapping of the Calves and Cowherd Boys) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

कृष्णस् तु कवलं किञ्चिद्
भुक्त्वा तत्र जहास ह
ये भुक्त-कवला बालास्
ते सर्वे जहसुः स्फुटम्

kṛṣṇas tu kavalaṃ kiñcid
bhuktvā tatra jahāsa ha
ye bhukta-kavalā bālās
te sarve jahasuḥ sphuṭam

kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; tu—indeed; kavalamthe morsel; kiñcita little bit; bhuktvāeating; tatra—there; jahāsa—laughed; ha—Ah!; ye—who; bhuktaeating; kavalaḥ—the morsel; bālāḥ—the boys; te—they; sarve—all; jahasuḥ—laughed; sphuṭam—aloud.

English translation of verse 2.7.18:

Kṛṣṇa tasted the morsel and laughed. All the boys that tasted that food laughed aloud.
