चञ्चलो ऽयं बालको मे
क्रीडन् दूरे प्रयाति हि
बालकाश् चञ्चलाः सर्वे
न मान्यन्ते वचो मम
cañcalo 'yaṃ bālako me
krīḍan dūre prayāti hi
bālakāś cañcalāḥ sarve
na mānyante vaco mama
cañcalaḥ—restless; ayam—thjis; bālakaḥ—boy; me—of mine; krīḍan—playing; dūre—far away; prayāti—goes; hi—indeed; bālakāḥ—boys; cañcalāḥ—restless; sarve—all; na—not; mānyante—are considered; vacaḥ—words; mama—my.
English translation of verse 2.6.21:
When He plays, my restless boy goes far away. All the boys are restless. I am not the only one to say that.
