The Garga-samhita Verse 2.6.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 6 (The Liberation of Aghasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

पूर्वं महा-वनं त्यक्त्वा
वृन्दारण्ये गता वयम्
एतत् त्यक्त्वा क्व यस्यामो
देशे वदत निर्भये

pūrvaṃ mahā-vanaṃ tyaktvā
vṛndāraṇye gatā vayam
etat tyaktvā kva yasyāmo
deśe vadata nirbhaye

pūrvam—before; mahā-vanam—Mahāvana; tyaktvāleaving; vṛndāraṇye—in Vṛndāvana; gatā—gone; vayam—we; etat—this; tyaktvā—leaving; kva—where?; yasyāmaḥ—we will go; deśe—in a country; vadata—tell; nirbhaye—that will not be fearful.

English translation of verse 2.6.20:

First we left Mahāvana and came to Vṛndāvana. If we leave Vṛndāvana to what safe country, where there will be no fearful calamities, could we go? Please tell me.
