The Garga-samhita Verse 2.6.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 6 (The Liberation of Aghasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तत्-पादयोर् निपतितं
दैत्यं दीनं गत-स्मयम्
प्रसन्नः स मुनिर्
वरं तस्मै ददौ पुनः

tat-pādayor nipatitaṃ
daityaṃ dīnaṃ gata-smayam
prasannaḥ sa munir
varaṃ tasmai dadau punaḥ

tat-pādayoḥ—at his feet; nipatitam—fallen; daityam—the demon; dīnam—poor; gata-smayam—his arrogance gone; dṛṣṭvāseeing; prasannaḥsatisfied; sa—he; muniḥ—the sage; varambenedication; tasmai—to him; dadau—gave; punaḥ—again.

English translation of verse 2.6.13:

Seeing that the demon, his pride and arrogance now gone, had fallen at his feet, the sage became pleased with him and gave him a benediction.
