The Garga-samhita Verse 2.5.31, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 5 (The Liberation of Bakasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

तथा नृणां नृपानां च
राज्यं हृत्वा महा-बलः
चकार वर्षाणि शतं
राज्यं सर्व-विभूतिमत्

tathā nṛṇāṃ nṛpānāṃ ca
rājyaṃ hṛtvā mahā-balaḥ
cakāra varṣāṇi śataṃ
rājyaṃ sarva-vibhūtimat

tathā—so; nṛṇām—of men; nṛpānām—of kings; ca—and; rājyam—the kingdom; hṛtvā—taking; mahā-balaḥvery powerful; cakāradid; varṣāṇi—years; śatam—a hundred; rājyam—kingdom; sarva-vibhūtimat—having all opulences.

English translation of verse 2.5.31:

Stealing from the kingdoms of many human kings, for a hundred years this powerful demon ruled a kingdom full of all opulence.
