गोपाला विस्मिताः सर्वे
कृष्णं संश्लिष्य सर्वतः
ऊचुस् त्वं कुसली-भूतो
मुक्तो मृत्यु-मुखात् सखे
gopālā vismitāḥ sarve
kṛṣṇaṃ saṃśliṣya sarvataḥ
ūcus tvaṃ kusalī-bhūto
mukto mṛtyu-mukhāt sakhe
gopālāḥ—the gopas; vismitāḥ—surprised; sarve—all; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; saṃśliṣya—embracing; sarvataḥ—in all respects; ūcuḥ—said; tvam—You; kusalī-bhūtaḥ—are well; muktaḥ—freed; mṛtyu—of death; mukhāt—from the mouth; sakhe—O friend.
English translation of verse 2.5.26:
Filled with wonder, all the gopas embraced Kṛṣṇa and said, "Friend, You are saved from death's mouth!"
