The Garga-samhita Verse 2.3.31, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 3 (Description of the Yamuna’s Arrival) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

सापि भोगवती-नाम्ना
बभौ भोगवती-वने
यज्-जलं स-त्रिनयनः
शेषो मूर्ध्ना बिभर्ति ह

sāpi bhogavatī-nāmnā
babhau bhogavatī-vane
yaj-jalaṃ sa-trinayanaḥ
śeṣo mūrdhnā bibharti ha

sā—she; api—also; bhogavatī-nāmnā—by the name Bhagavatī; babhau—is manifested; bhogavatī-vane—in Bhogavatī forest; yaj-jalamthe water of ehom; sa-trinayanaḥ—with Lord Śiva; śeṣaḥLord Śeṣa; mūrdhnā—on His head; bibharti—carries; ha—certainly.

English translation of verse 2.3.31:

There she is named Bhogavatī, for she flows through the Bhogavatī forest. Lord Śeṣa and Lord Śiva carry her water on Their heads.
