The Garga-samhita Verse 2.3.24, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 3 (Description of the Yamuna’s Arrival) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-गङ्गोवाच
सर्व-तीर्थ-मयी गङ्गा
तस्मात् त्वां प्रणमाम्य् अहं
यत् किञ्चिद् वा प्रकथितं
तत् क्षमस्व सु-मङ्गले

śrī-gaṅgovāca
sarva-tīrtha-mayī gaṅgā
tasmāt tvāṃ praṇamāmy ahaṃ
yat kiñcid vā prakathitaṃ
tat kṣamasva su-maṅgale

śrī-gaṅgā uvāca—Śrī gaṅgā said; sarva-tīrtha-mayīconsisting of all holy places; gaṅgā—Gaṅgā; tasmāt—therefore; tvam—you; praṇamāmi—bow down; aham—I; yat—what; kiñcitsomething; vā—or; prakathitam—said; tat—that; kṣamasva—please forgive; su-maṅgale—O auspicious one.

English translation of verse 2.3.24:

Śrī Gaṅgā said: I, the Gaṅgā, who contain all holy places, bow down before you.

O auspicious one, please forgive any improper words I may have said.
