The Garga-samhita Verse 2.3.18, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 3 (Description of the Yamuna’s Arrival) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

अथो व्रजाद् व्रजन्ती सा
व्रज-विक्षेप-विह्वला
प्रेमानन्दाश्रु-सम्युक्ता
भूत्वा पश्चिम-वाहिनी

atho vrajād vrajantī sā
vraja-vikṣepa-vihvalā
premānandāśru-samyuktā
bhūtvā paścima-vāhinī

athaḥthen; vrajāt—from Vraja; vrajanti—going; sā—she; vraja—of Vraja; vikṣepaleaving; vihvalā—overwhelmed; premaof love; ānandaof bliss; aśruwith tears; samyuktā—endowed; bhūtvā—becoming; paścimawest; vāhinīflowing.

English translation of verse 2.3.18:

As she left Vraja she became overwhelmed by feelings of separation. Filled with tears of bliss and love, she turned west (and returned to Vraja).
