The Garga-samhita Verse 2.2.49, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 2 (Description of Giriraja Govardhana’s Birth) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-सन्नन्द उवाच
काशीं गते पुलस्त्यर्षाव्
अयं गोवर्धनो गिरिः
नित्यं सङ्क्षीयते नन्द
टिल-मात्रं दिने दिने

śrī-sannanda uvāca
kāśīṃ gate pulastyarṣāv
ayaṃ govardhano giriḥ
nityaṃ saṅkṣīyate nanda
ṭila-mātraṃ dine dine

śrī-sannandaḥ uvāca—Śrī Sannanda said; kāśīm—to Kasi; gate—went; pulastyarṣau—when Pulastya Ṛṣi; ayamhe; govardhano giriḥ—Mount Govardhana; nityam—always; saṅkṣīyate—diminishes; nandaO Nanda; ṭila-mātram—by the size of s sesame seed; dine—day; dine—after day.

English translation of verse 2.2.49:

Śrī Sannanda said: O Nanda, when Pulastya Ṛṣi left for Kāśī, Mount Govardhana beagn to shrink by the size of a sesame seed day after day.
