The Garga-samhita Verse 2.2.47, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 2 (Description of Giriraja Govardhana’s Birth) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

पुलस्त्यो मुनि-शार्दूलः
क्रोधात् प्रचलितेन्द्रियः
स्फुरद्-ओष्ठो द्रोण-पुरं
शशाप विगतोद्यमः

pulastyo muni-śārdūlaḥ
krodhāt pracalitendriyaḥ
sphurad-oṣṭho droṇa-puraṃ
śaśāpa vigatodyamaḥ

pulastyaḥPulastya; muni-śārdūlaḥthe tiger of sages; krodhāt—out of anger; pracalita—trembling; indriyaḥ——senses; sphurattrembling; oṣṭhaḥ—lips; droṇa-putram—the son of Droṇa; śaśāpa—cursed; vigatagone; udyamaḥ—effort.

English translation of verse 2.2.47:

Then, abandoning his attempt (to move the mountain), Pulastya, the tiger of sages, his senses filled with anger and his lips trembling, cursed Govardhana, the son of Droṇa.
