The Garga-samhita Verse 2.2.45, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 2 (Description of Giriraja Govardhana’s Birth) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-पुलस्त्य उवाच
गच्छ गच्छ गिरि-श्रेष्ठ
भारं मा कुरु मा कुरु
मया ज्ञातो ऽसि रुष्टस् त्वं
अभिप्रायं वदाशु मे

śrī-pulastya uvāca
gaccha gaccha giri-śreṣṭha
bhāraṃ mā kuru mā kuru
mayā jñāto 'si ruṣṭas tvaṃ
abhiprāyaṃ vadāśu me

śrī-pulastyaḥ uvāca—Śrī Pulastya said; gacchago; gaccha—go; giri-śreṣṭhaO best of mountains; bhāram—weight; mā—don't; kurudo; mā—don't; kuru—do; mayāby me; jñātaḥ—known; asi—you are; ruṣṭaḥ—angry; tvam—you; abhiprāyam—reason; vadatell; āśu—at once; me—to me.

English translation of verse 2.2.45:

Śrī Pulastya said: Come! Come! O best of mountains, don't make yourself heavy! Don't make yourself heavy! I know you are angry. Tell me why at once!
