The Garga-samhita Verse 2.2.24, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. विश्वेश्वरस्य देवस्य
काशी-नाम्ना महा-पुरी
यत्र पापी मृतः सद्यः
परं मोक्षं प्रयाति हि

viśveśvarasya devasya
kāśī-nāmnā mahā-purī
yatra pāpī mṛtaḥ sadyaḥ
paraṃ mokṣaṃ prayāti hi

viśveśvarasya—of Viśveśvara; devasyaLord; kāśī-nāmnā—named kasi; mahā-purīgreat city; yatrawhere; pāpīa sinner; mṛtaḥ—does; sadyaḥ—at once; param—ultimate; mokṣam—liberation; prayātiattains; hi—indeed.

English translation of verse 2.2.24:

The great city named Kāśī is the home of Lord Viśveśvara. A sinner who dies there at once attains liberation.
