The Garga-samhita Verse 2.2.7, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 2 (Description of Giriraja Govardhana’s Birth) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-राधोवाच
यत्र वृन्दावनं नास्ति
न यत्र यमुना नदी
यत्र गोवर्धनो नास्ति
तत्र मे न मनः-सुखम्

śrī-rādhovāca
yatra vṛndāvanaṃ nāsti
na yatra yamunā nadī
yatra govardhano nāsti
tatra me na manaḥ-sukham

śrī-rādhā uvāca—Śrī Rādhā said; yatrawhere; vṛndāvanam—Vṛndāvana; na—not; astiis; na—not; yatra—where; yamunāYamuna; nadīriver; yatra—where; govardhanaḥGovardhana; na—not; asti—is; tatra—there; me—My; na—not; manaḥ—of the heart; sukham—happiness.

English translation of verse 2.2.7:

Śrī Rādhā said: My heart cannot be happy in a place where there is no Vṛndāvana forest, no Yamunā River, and no Govardhana Hill.
