The Garga-samhita Verse 2.1.13, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 1 (Description of the Entrance in Vrindavana) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

मथुरायां शौरि-गृहे
गर्गाचार्य-मुखाच् छ्रुतम्
माथुरं मण्डलं दिव्यं
तीर्थ-राजेन पूजितम्

mathurāyāṃ śauri-gṛhe
gargācārya-mukhāc chrutam
māthuraṃ maṇḍalaṃ divyaṃ
tīrtha-rājena pūjitam

mathurāyām—in Mathurā; śauri-gṛhe—in the home of Vasudeva; gargācārya-mukhāt—from the mouth iof Garga Muni; śrutam—heard; māthuraṃ maṇḍalam—Mathurā-maṇḍala; divyam—transcendental; tīrtha-rājena—by the king of holy places; pūjitam—worshiped.

English translation of verse 2.1.13:

In Vasudeva's palace I heard from Garga Muni's mouth that even Prayāga, the king of holy places, worships splendid and transcendental Mathurā-maṇḍala.
