The Garga-samhita Verse 2.1.12, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. विंशद्-योजन-विस्तीर्णं
सार्धं यद् योजनेन वै
माथुरं मण्डलं दिव्यम्
व्रजम् आहुर् मनीषिणः

viṃśad-yojana-vistīrṇaṃ
sārdhaṃ yad yojanena vai
māthuraṃ maṇḍalaṃ divyam
vrajam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ

viṃśat—20; yojanayojana; vistīrṇam—extended; sārdham—with; yat—which; yojanena—by a yojana; vai—indeed; māthuraṃ maṇḍalam—the circle of Mathurā; divyam—transcendental; vrajam—Vraja; ahuḥ—said; manīṣiṇaḥ—the wise.

English translation of verse 2.1.12:

The wise say the splendid transcendental land of Vraja Mathurā-maṇḍala is 21 yojanas in circumference.
