The Garga-samhita Verse 1.19.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 19 (Breaking of the Two Arjuna Trees) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

तदैव गोप्यस् तु समागतास् त्वरं
दृष्ट्वाथ भग्नं दधि-मन्थ-भाजनम्
उलूखले बद्धम् अतीव दामभिर्
भीतं शिशुं वीक्ष्य जगुर् घृणातुराः

tadaiva gopyas tu samāgatās tvaraṃ
dṛṣṭvātha bhagnaṃ dadhi-mantha-bhājanam
ulūkhale baddham atīva dāmabhir
bhītaṃ śiśuṃ vīkṣya jagur ghṛṇāturāḥ

tadāthen; eva—indeed; gopyaḥgopīs; tu—indeed; samāgatāḥ—arrived; tvaram—quickly; dṛṣṭvāseeing; athathen; bhagnam—broken; dadhiyogurt; manthachurning; bhājanam—jug; ulūkhale—on the grinding mortar; baddham—bound; atīvagreatly; dāmabhiḥ—with ropes; bhītam—frightened; śiśum—child; vīkṣyaseeing; jaguḥ—sang; ghṛṇāwith kindness; āturāḥ—overcome.

English translation of verse 1.19.11:

The gopīs quickly came. Seeing the broken yogurt-churn and the frightened child tightly bound with ropes to the grinding mortar, they became filled with compassion and spoke.
