एकदा गोकुले गोप्यो
ममन्थुर् दधि सर्वतः
गृहे गृहे प्रगायन्त्यो
गोपाल-चरितं परम्
śrī-nārada uvāca
ekadā gokule gopyo
mamanthur dadhi sarvataḥ
gṛhe gṛhe pragāyantyo
gopāla-caritaṃ param
śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; ekadā—one day; gokule—in Gokula; gopyaḥ—the gopīs; mamanthuḥ—churned; dadhi—yogurt; sarvataḥ—completely; gṛhe gṛhe—in home after home; pragāyantyaḥ—singing; gopāla—of Gopāla; caritam—the pastimes; param—transcendental.
