श्री-भगवान् उवाच
सर्वे मृषा-वाद-रता व्रजार्भका
मातर् मया क्वापि न मृत् प्रभक्षिता
यदा समीचीनम् अनेन वाक्-पथं
तदा मुखं पश्य मदीयम् अञ्जसा
śrī-bhagavān uvāca
sarve mṛṣā-vāda-ratā vrajārbhakā
mātar mayā kvāpi na mṛt prabhakṣitā
yadā samīcīnam anena vāk-pathaṃ
tadā mukhaṃ paśya madīyam añjasā
śrī-bhagavān uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; sarve—all; mṛṣā-vāda-ratāḥ—lying; vrajārbhakāḥ—the boys of Vraja; mātaḥ—O mother; mayā—by Me; kvāpi—ever; na—not; mṛt—clay; prabhakṣitā—eaten; yadā—when; samīcīnam—truth; anena—by this; vāk-patham—words; tadā—then; mukham—mouth; paśya—look; madīyam—My; añjasā—at once.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The boys of Vraja are all lying. I never ate clay. I speak the truth. Look in My mouth.
