The Garga-samhita Verse 1.18.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 18 (Vision of the Universal Form) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-नन्द-नन्दनम् अतीव चलं गृहीत्वा
गेहं निधाय मुमुहुर् नव-नन्द-गोपाः
सत्-कन्दुकैश् च सततं परिपालयन्तो
गायन्त ऊर्जित-सुखा न जगत् स्मरन्तः

śrī-nanda-nandanam atīva calaṃ gṛhītvā
gehaṃ nidhāya mumuhur nava-nanda-gopāḥ
sat-kandukaiś ca satataṃ paripālayanto
gāyanta ūrjita-sukhā na jagat smarantaḥ

śrī-nanda-nandanam—the son of Nanda; atīvavery; calam—restless; gṛhītvātaking; geham—home; nidhāyaplacing; mumuhuḥ—became enchanted; nava-nanda-gopāḥthe nine Nanda-gopas; sat-kandukaiḥ—with toy balls; ca—and; satatam—always; paripālayantaḥ—protecting; gāyantaḥ—singing; ūrjita-sukhāḥ—very happy; na—not; jagatthe world; smarantaḥ—remembering.

English translation of verse 1.18.2:

Taking Nanda's restless ball-playing son into their homes, protecting Him, feeding Him, singing His glories, and so happy they did not remember anything else in the world, the nine Nanda-gopas were completely enchanted.
