जन-लज्जा-समायुक्ता
दूरी-कृत्य मुखाम्बरम्
सापि प्राह निजं बालं
वीक्ष्य विस्मित-मानसा
jana-lajjā-samāyuktā
dūrī-kṛtya mukhāmbaram
sāpi prāha nijaṃ bālaṃ
vīkṣya vismita-mānasā
jana—of the people; lajjā—embarrassment; samāyuktā—with; dūrī-kṛtya—put far away; mukha—face; ambaram—cloth; sā—she; api—also; prāha—said; nijam—to her own; bālam—boy; vīkṣya—looking; vismita—surprised; mānasā—heart.
