भग्न-भाण्डात् सर्व-गव्यं
वहद् भूमौ मनोहरम्
जघास सुबलो मर्कैर्
बालकैः सह माधवः
bhagna-bhāṇḍāt sarva-gavyaṃ
vahad bhūmau manoharam
jaghāsa subalo markair
bālakaiḥ saha mādhavaḥ
bhagna—broken; bhāṇḍāt—from the jar; sarva—all; gavyam—the yogurt; vahat—flowing; bhūmau—to the ground; manoharam—charming; jaghāsa—ate; subalaḥ—Subala; markaiḥ—with the monkeys; bālakaiḥ—the boys; saha—with; mādhavaḥ—Kṛṣṇa.
English translation of verse 1.17.31:
As all the beautiful yogurt flowed from the broken jug to the ground, Kṛṣṇa, Subala, the boys, and some monkeys, all ate it.
