तं सर्वतो हैमन-चित्र-युक्तं
पीताम्बरं कञ्चुकम् आदधानम्
स्फुरत्-प्रभं रत्नमयं च मौलिं
दृष्ट्वा सुतं प्राप मुदं यशोदा
taṃ sarvato haimana-citra-yuktaṃ
pītāmbaraṃ kañcukam ādadhānam
sphurat-prabhaṃ ratnamayaṃ ca mauliṃ
dṛṣṭvā sutaṃ prāpa mudaṃ yaśodā
tam—Him; sarvataḥ—completely; haimana—golden; citra—designs; yuktam—endowed; pītāmbaraṃ kañcukam—yellow garments; ādadhānam—wearing; sphurat-prabham—splendid; ratnamayam—jeweled; ca—and; maulim—crown; dṛṣṭvā—seeing; sutam—her son; prāpa—attained; mudam—happiness; yaśodā—Yaśodā.
English translation of verse 1.17.7:
Gazing at her son dressed in yellow garments decorated with gold and splendid with a crown of jewels, Yaśodā became happy.
