The Garga-samhita Verse 1.17.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 17 (Description of the Yogurt Theft) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

जानु-द्वयाभ्यां च समं कराभ्यां
पुनर् व्रजन् प्रङ्गनम् एत्य कृष्णः
मात्र्-अङ्क-देशे पुनर् आव्रजन् सन्
बभौ व्रजे केशरि-बाल-लीलः

jānu-dvayābhyāṃ ca samaṃ karābhyāṃ
punar vrajan praṅganam etya kṛṣṇaḥ
mātr-aṅka-deśe punar āvrajan san
babhau vraje keśari-bāla-līlaḥ

jānu-dvayābhyām—both knees; ca—and; samamwith; karābhyām—both hands; punaḥ—again; vrajan—going; praṅganam—to the courtyard; etyagoing; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; mātṛof His mother; aṅka-deśe—on the lap; punaḥ—again; āvrajan—returning; san—being so; babhau—was splendidly manifested; vraje—in Vraja; keśarilion; bālacub; līlaḥ—pastimes.

English translation of verse 1.17.6:

On His hands and knees crawling first to the courtyard and then to His mother's lap, Kṛṣṇa was like a lion cub splendidly playing in Vraja.
