The Garga-samhita Verse 1.16.54, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 16 (Description of Shri Radhika’s Wedding) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्रुत्वाथ राधा हि हरिं गृहीत्वा
गताशु गेहे व्रज-राज-पत्न्याः
दत्त्वा च बालं किल नन्द-पत्न्या
उवाच दत्तः पथि ते च भर्त्रा

śrutvātha rādhā hi hariṃ gṛhītvā
gatāśu gehe vraja-rāja-patnyāḥ
dattvā ca bālaṃ kila nanda-patnyā
uvāca dattaḥ pathi te ca bhartrā

śrutvāhearing; athathen; rādhāRādhā; hi—indeed; harim—Lord Hari; gṛhītvātaking; gatā—went; āśu—at once; gehe—home; vraja-rāja-patnyāḥ—of the wife of Vraja's king; dattvāgiving; ca—also; bālam—the infant; kilaindeed; nanda-patnyā—with Nanda's wife; uvāca—spoke; dattaḥ—placed; pathion the pathway; te—of you; ca—also; bhartrā—by Your husband.

English translation of verse 1.16.54:

Hearing this, Rādhā took Lord Hari and quickly went to the home of Vraja's queen. Giving the child to Nanda's wife, She said, "Your husband gave Him to Me on the path."
