The Garga-samhita Verse 1.16.50, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 16 (Description of Shri Radhika’s Wedding) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

ततश् च भाण्डीरवने प्रियायास्
चकार शृङ्गारम् अलं मनोज्ञम्
पत्रावलीयावक-कज्जलाद्यैः
पुष्पैः सु-रत्नैर् व्रज-गोप-रत्नः

tataś ca bhāṇḍīravane priyāyās
cakāra śṛṅgāram alaṃ manojñam
patrāvalīyāvaka-kajjalādyaiḥ
puṣpaiḥ su-ratnair vraja-gopa-ratnaḥ

tataḥthen; ca—also; bhāṇḍīravane—in Bhāṇḍīravana; priyāyāḥ—of His beloved; cakāradid; śṛṅgāram—decoration; alamgreatly; manojñam—beautiful; patrapictures and designs; avali-many; yāvakared lac; kajjalablack kajjala; ādyaiḥ—beginning with; puṣpaiḥ—with flowers; su-ratnaiḥ—with beautiful jewels; vrajaof Vraja; gopaof the cowherd people; ratnaḥ—the jewel.

English translation of verse 1.16.50:

Then, in Bhāṇḍīravana forest, with many flowers, beautiful jewels, and pictures drawn in red yāvaka, black kajjala, and many other colors, He who is the jewel of the Vraja-gopas beautifully decorated His beloved.
