The Garga-samhita Verse 1.16.48, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. राधा हरेः पीत-पटं च वंशीं
वेत्रं गृहीत्वा सहसा हसन्ती
देहीति वंशीं वदतो हरेश् च
जगाद राधा कमलं नु देहि

rādhā hareḥ pīta-paṭaṃ ca vaṃśīṃ
vetraṃ gṛhītvā sahasā hasantī
dehīti vaṃśīṃ vadato hareś ca
jagāda rādhā kamalaṃ nu dehi

rādhāRādhā; hareḥof Lord Hari; pītayellow; paṭam—garment; ca—and; vaṃśīm—flute; vetram—and stick; gṛhītvātaking; sahasāsuddenly; hasantī— laughing; dehigive; iti—thus; vaṃśīm—the flute; vadataḥ—saying; hareḥ—of Lord Hari; ca—also; jagāda—said; rādhā—Rādhā; kamalam—the lotus; nu—certainly; dehi—give.

English translation of verse 1.16.48:

Laughing Rādhā quickly took Lord Hari's flute, stick, and yellow cloth. When Lord Hari said, "Give back My flute!" She mocked Him and said, "You give back My lotus!"
