राधा कराभ्यां प्रददौ च मालिकां
किञ्जल्किनीं कृष्ण-गले ऽलिनादिनीम्
हरेः कराभ्यां वृषभानुजा गले
ततश् च वह्निं प्रणमय्य वेद-वित्
rādhā karābhyāṃ pradadau ca mālikāṃ
kiñjalkinīṃ kṛṣṇa-gale 'linādinīm
hareḥ karābhyāṃ vṛṣabhānujā gale
tataś ca vahniṃ praṇamayya veda-vit
rādhā—Rādhā; karābhyām—with both hands; pradadau—gave; ca—also; mālikām—a garland; kiñjalkinīm—of lotus flowers; kṛṣṇa-gale—on Kṛṣṇa's neck; ali—of bees; nādinīm—filled with the humming; hareḥ—of Lord Hari; karābhyām—with both hands; vṛṣabhānujā—the daughter of Vṛṣabhānu; gale—on the neck; tataḥ—then; ca—and; vahnim—the fire; praṇamayya—having bow down; veda-vit—the knower of the Vedas.
English translation of verse 1.16.34:
Then with both hands Śrī Rādhā placed on Lord Kṛṣṇa's neck a lotus garland filled the the humming of bees. Then with both hands Lord Hari placed on Śrī Rādhā's neck a similar garland. Then Brahmā had Them bow down before the sacred fire.
