The Garga-samhita Verse 1.16.23, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. गोलोक-नाथस् त्वम् अतीव-लीलो
लीलावतीयं निज-लोक-लीला
वैकुण्ठ-नाथो ऽसि यदा त्वम् एव लक्ष्मीस् तदेयं वृषभानुजा हि

goloka-nāthas tvam atīva-līlo
līlāvatīyaṃ nija-loka-līlā
vaikuṇṭha-nātho 'si yadā tvam eva lakṣmīs tadeyaṃ vṛṣabhānujā hi

goloka-nāthaḥthe master of Goloka; tvam—You; atīva-līlaḥplayful; līlāvatīplayful; iyamshe; nija—own; lokarealm; līlāpastimes; vaikuṇṭha-nāthaḥ—the master of Vaikuṇṭha; asi—You are; yadā—when; tvam—You; eva—indeed; lakṣmīḥLakṣmī; tadāthen; iyam—She; vṛṣabhānujā—the daughter of Vṛṣabhānu; hi—certainly.

English translation of verse 1.16.23:

You are the playful king of Goloka and She is Your playful companion. When You are the king of Vaikuṇṭha, She, the daughter of Vṛṣabhānu, is Goddess Lakṣmī.
