The Garga-samhita Verse 1.16.19, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 16 (Description of Shri Radhika’s Wedding) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

भुजेन सङ्गृह्य हसन् प्रियां हरिर्
जगाम मध्ये सु-विवाह-मण्डपम्
विवाह-सम्भार-युतः स-मेखलं
सुदर्भमद्-वारि-घटादि-मण्डितम्

bhujena saṅgṛhya hasan priyāṃ harir
jagāma madhye su-vivāha-maṇḍapam
vivāha-sambhāra-yutaḥ sa-mekhalaṃ
sudarbhamad-vāri-ghaṭādi-maṇḍitam

bhujena—with an arm; saṅgṛhya—taking; hasan—smiling; priyām—His beloved; hariḥLord Hari; jagāma—went; madhye—to the middle; su—beautiful; vivāhamarriage; maṇḍapam—pavilion; vivāha—for the marriage; sambhāraparaphernalia; yutaḥ—with; sa-mekhalam—with a belt; su-darbha-mat—with kuśa grass; vāriwater; ghaṭapots; ādi—beginning with; maṇḍitam—decorated.

English translation of verse 1.16.19:

Smiling, Lord Hari took His beloved by the arm, and with the wedding paraphernalia went to the wedding-pavilion, which was decorated with mekhalās, kuśa grass, waterpots, and many other things.
