कालिन्दी-जल-कल्लोल-
कोलहल-समाकुलम्
तत्रोपवेश्य गोपेशं
मुनीन्द्रः प्राह धर्म-वित्
kālindī-jala-kallola-
kolahala-samākulam
tatropaveśya gopeśaṃ
munīndraḥ prāha dharma-vit
kālindī—of the Yamunā; jala—water; kallola—waves; kolāhala—tumult; samākulam—filled; tatra—there; upaveśya—sitting; gopa—of the gopas; īśam—to the king; muni—of sagesl indraḥ—the king; prāha—said; dharma—the truth of religion; vit—knowing.
English translation of verse 1.15.51:
Making the gopa-king Vṛṣabhānu sit down at a place where the Yamunā's waves made a great sound, Garga Muni, the king of sages and the knower of religion, spoke.
