श्री-नारद उवाच
हस्तं गृहीत्वा श्री-गर्गो
वृषभानोर् महा-मुनिः
जगाम यमुना-तीरं
निर्जनं सुन्दर-स्थलम्
śrī-nārada uvāca
hastaṃ gṛhītvā śrī-gargo
vṛṣabhānor mahā-muniḥ
jagāma yamunā-tīraṃ
nirjanaṃ sundara-sthalam
śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; hastam—hand; gṛhītvā—taking; śrī-gargaḥ—Śrī Garga; vṛṣabhānoḥ—of Vṛṣabhānu; mahā-muniḥ—the great sage; jagāma—went; yamunā—of the Yamunā; tīram—to the shore; nirjanam—secluded; sundara—beautiful; sthalam—place.
English translation of verse 1.15.50:
Śrī Nārada said: Taking Vṛṣabhānu's hand, the great sage Śrī Garga Muni went to a beautiful and secluded place on the Yamunā's shore.
