परिपूर्णतमे साक्षात्
तेन कृष्णः प्रकीर्तितः
शुक्लो रक्तस् तथा पीतो
वर्णो ऽस्यानु-युगं धृतः
paripūrṇatame sākṣāt
tena kṛṣṇaḥ prakīrtitaḥ
śuklo raktas tathā pīto
varṇo 'syānu-yugaṃ dhṛtaḥ
paripūrṇatame—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; sākṣāt—directly; tena—by this; kṛṣṇaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; prakīrtitaḥ—is said; śuklaḥ—white; raktaḥ—red; tathā—so; pītaḥ—yellow; varṇaḥ—color; asya—of Him; anu—following; yugam—the yugas; dhṛtaḥ—held.
English translation of verse 1.15.31:
In this way the Supreme Personality of Godhead is known as Kṛṣṇaḥ. In white, red, and yellow forms He appears in the yugas one after another.
