नन्दः सम्पूज्य विधिवत्
पाद्याद्यैर् मुनि-सत्तमम्
ततः प्रदक्षिणी-कृत्य
साष्टाङ्गं प्रणनाम ह
nandaḥ sampūjya vidhivat
pādyādyair muni-sattamam
tataḥ pradakṣiṇī-kṛtya
sāṣṭāṅgaṃ praṇanāma ha
nandaḥ—Nanda; sampūjya—worshiping; vidhivat—according to the rules of tradition; pādya-ādyaiḥ—beginning with offering water to wash the feet; muni-sattamam—the great sage; tataḥ—then; pradakṣiṇī-kṛtya—circumambulating; sāṣṭāṅgaṃ praṇanāma ha—offered daṇḍavat obeisances.
English translation of verse 1.15.19:
Following the rules of tradition, Nanda worshiped the great sage, washing his feet and offering him many things. Then he circumambulated him and offered obeisances, falling down like a stick.
