The Garga-samhita Verse 1.15.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 15 (Revelation of the Universal Form to Nanda’s Wife) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
नन्द-गेहे हरिः साक्षाच्
छिशु-रूपः सनातनः
किं चकार बलेनापि
तन् मे ब्रूहि महा-मुने

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
nanda-gehe hariḥ sākṣāc
chiśu-rūpaḥ sanātanaḥ
kiṃ cakāra balenāpi
tan me brūhi mahā-mune

śrī-bahulāśvaḥ uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; nandaof Nanda; gehe—in the home; hariḥLord Hari; sākṣātdirectly; śiśuof a child; rūpaḥthe form; sanātanaḥ—eternal; kim—what?; cakāradid; balena—with Balarāma; api—also; tat—that; me—to me; brūhi—tell; mahā-mune—O great sage.

English translation of verse 1.15.17:

Śrī Bahulāśva said: When He displayed His eternal form of a child in Nanda's home, what pastimes did Lord Hari enjoy with Balarāma. O great sage, please tell me this.
