श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
नन्द-गेहे हरिः साक्षाच्
छिशु-रूपः सनातनः
किं चकार बलेनापि
तन् मे ब्रूहि महा-मुने
śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
nanda-gehe hariḥ sākṣāc
chiśu-rūpaḥ sanātanaḥ
kiṃ cakāra balenāpi
tan me brūhi mahā-mune
śrī-bahulāśvaḥ uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; nanda—of Nanda; gehe—in the home; hariḥ—Lord Hari; sākṣāt—directly; śiśu—of a child; rūpaḥ—the form; sanātanaḥ—eternal; kim—what?; cakāra—did; balena—with Balarāma; api—also; tat—that; me—to me; brūhi—tell; mahā-mune—O great sage.
English translation of verse 1.15.17:
Śrī Bahulāśva said: When He displayed His eternal form of a child in Nanda's home, what pastimes did Lord Hari enjoy with Balarāma. O great sage, please tell me this.
