The Garga-samhita Verse 1.15.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 15 (Revelation of the Universal Form to Nanda’s Wife) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
द्रोणो नन्दो ऽभवद् भूमौ
यशोदा सा धरा स्मृता
कृष्णो ब्रह्म-वचः कर्तुं
प्राप्तो घोषे पितुः पुरात्

śrī-nārada uvāca
droṇo nando 'bhavad bhūmau
yaśodā sā dharā smṛtā
kṛṣṇo brahma-vacaḥ kartuṃ
prāpto ghoṣe pituḥ purāt

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; droṇaḥDroṇa; nandaḥNanda; abhavat—became; bhūmau—on the earth; yaśodā—Yaśodā; sā—she; dharāDharā; smṛtā—remembered; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; brahma-vacaḥ—the words of Brahmā; kartum—to do; prāptaḥ—attained; ghoṣe—in Vraja; pituḥ—of the father; purāt—from the city.

English translation of verse 1.15.14:

Śrī Nārada said: Droṇa was born as Nanda on the earth and Dharā was born as Yaśodā. To fulfill Brahmā's words, Lord Kṛṣṇa went from His father's palace to the village of Vraja.
