श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
नन्दो यशोदया सार्धं
किं चकार तपो महत्
येन श्री-कृष्णचन्द्रो ऽपि
पुत्री-भूतो बभूव ह
śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
nando yaśodayā sārdhaṃ
kiṃ cakāra tapo mahat
yena śrī-kṛṣṇacandro 'pi
putrī-bhūto babhūva ha
śrī-bahulāśvaḥ uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; nandaḥ—Nanda; yaśodayā—Yaśodā; sārdham—with; kim—what?; cakāra—did; tapaḥ—austerities; mahat—great; yena—by which; śrī-kṛṣṇacandraḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇacandra; api—even; putrī—son; bhūto babhūva ha—became.
