The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.63, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. दुर्वाससं मुनिं साक्षाद्
आगतं न ननाम ह
तदा मुनिर् ददौ शापं
राक्षसो भव दुर्मते

durvāsasaṃ muniṃ sākṣād
āgataṃ na nanāma ha
tadā munir dadau śāpaṃ
rākṣaso bhava durmate

durvāsasam munim—Durvāsā Muni; sākṣātdirectly; āgatam—arrived; na—not; nanāma ha—offered obeisances; tadāthen; muniḥthe sage; dadau—gave; śāpam—a curse; rākṣasaḥ—a demon; bhavabecome; durmate—O evil-hearted one.

English translation of verse 1.14.63:

When Durvāsā Muni came there the king did not bow down to offer respects to him. Then the sage cursed him, "O evil-hearted one, become a demon!"
