The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.60, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
तृणावर्तः पूर्व-काले
को ऽयं सुकृत-कृन् नरः
परिपूर्णतमे साक्षाच्
छ्री-कृष्णे लीनतां गतः

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
tṛṇāvartaḥ pūrva-kāle
ko 'yaṃ sukṛta-kṛn naraḥ
paripūrṇatame sākṣāc
chrī-kṛṣṇe līnatāṃ gataḥ

śrī-bahulāśvaḥ uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; tṛṇāvartaḥTṛṇāvarta; pūrva-kālein his previous time; kaḥ—who?; ayamhe; sukṛta-kṛt—performer of pious deeds; naraḥperson; paripūrṇatame sākṣātin the Supreme Personality of Godhead; śrī-kṛṣṇe—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; līnatām—merging; gataḥ—attained.

English translation of verse 1.14.60:

Śrī Bahulāśva said: What pious deeds did Tṛṇāvarta perform in his previous birth that he merged into Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead?
