मुखं च मथुरा-नाथो
द्वारकेशः शिरो ऽवतु
पृष्ठं पात्व् असुर-ध्वंसी
सर्वतो भगवान् स्वयम्

mukhaṃ ca mathurā-nātho
dvārakeśaḥ śiro 'vatu
pṛṣṭhaṃ pātv asura-dhvaṃsī
sarvato bhagavān svayam

mukham—face; ca—and; mathurā-nāthaḥthe Lord of Mathurā; dvārakeśaḥ—the Lord of Dvārakā; śiraḥhead; avatumay protect; pṛṣṭham—back; pātumay protect; asura-dhvaṃsīthe killer of the demons; sarvataḥ—completely; bhagavān svayam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

English translation of verse 1.14.56:

May the Lord of Mathurā protect Your face. May the Lord of Dvārakā protect Your head. May the Lord who kills the demons protect Your back. May the Supreme Personality of Godhead give You all protection.
